Ruby’s Garden

The featured image of Ruby Stanley was taken by artist and photographer, Linda (Tuly) Fodo.  Tuly came to our mountains from the North and embarked on a mission to pay tribute to the people who make up our mountain heritage.  Tuly is no longer with us and this blog is a tribute to Tuly, Ruby, and all my friends, relatives and neighbors in my mountain home.  I assisted Tuly in putting together her photography exhibit celebrating our mountain heritage.  Ruby was thrilled, as were so many others.  Ruby’s smile warms me to this day.

Ruby Stanley had an artist’s heart.  Her garden was her canvas.  Even before I knew Ruby, I would drive by her garden to view new additions.  The garden was on the side of the road in the mountains near Suches, GA.  Ruby’s Garden is her artist’s statement.  I hope you enjoy this tour through Ruby’s Garden!
